The Government ISN'T Making things any Better!
As Robert Heilein observed: "The first job of any organization, or governement,
or agency is to stay in power." The second job of any organization or
government, or agency is to increase that power. These are the principles of
survival and growth. Measure an organizations actions against these
principles and you can begin to understand what motivates them.
Government TLA's (Three Letter Agencies) have to deal with "equities issues",
whether to protect ours or to attack theirs.
Agencies will perceive threats and task and responsibilities in terms which
are advantages to them.
