Installation Security

• Security needs to start with the installation.
• Do not install old versions and attempt to patch-up. Install the latest versions.
• Create initial users and make sure all accounts have good passwords.
• Do not install software you do not intend to use!
• Do not enable services which have not been fully configured!
• Set up your default security to deny everything from the network and then only enable what you need to use.
